Ready to get started on a skills-boosting certificate? Great! The process to get started is simple, and all you need is a high-school diploma or equivalent.
- Hold a high-school diploma or equivalent
Note:You'll only be eligible to enroll in courses needed to fulfill the requirements for the appropriate certificate program when you're admitted.
If you're interested in earning your bachelor's degree, you'll be eligible to transition into a degree-seeking program (and include these certificate courses) once you complete 12 hours of certificate courses with a 3.0 or higher. At the time of transferring to a degree program, you will be required to submit official transcripts from all institutions previously attended.
Submitting your application takes three easy steps: filling out the application, submitting your documents and paying the application fee.
- When completing the online application, select 100% online student and then complete all the steps on the online application.
- Pay $30.00 non-refundable application fee.
- Submit official high school transcripts (or proof of equivalent).

Financial assets as vehicles for saving for the future, investments in combinations of assets to meet financial objectives, and how the financial objectives will change over the lifespan of the investor.
PE 3853: Sports Promotion and Sales Management
Duration: 7 weeks | Credit Hours: 3
This course examines theories, concepts and research associated with sport consumer behaviors.
PE 4743: Legal Issues in Sport
Duration: 7 weeks | Credit Hours: 3
Students will examine legal issues as they relate to the law; liability; legal systems; and the rights of those involved in the sport, exercise and fitness industry.
STCM 3553: Strategic Visual Communication
Duration: 7 weeks | Credit Hours: 3
An advanced course focusing on the theoretical, contextual and practical natures of persuasive images in the context of strategic communication.
Students must choose one of the following courses (3 credits).
STCM 4213: Social Media in Strategic Communications
Duration: 7 weeks | Credit Hours: 3
This course examines concepts and applications of social media within mass communications, news, advertising and public relations industries. We will explore and apply social media tools, integrating them into an organization's overall communication strategy.
STCM 4313: Strategic Sport Communication
Duration: 7 weeks | Credit Hours: 3
A comprehensive examination of the field of sport communication, with a complete approach to the applications of advertising, public relations, and social media strategies in the context of sport communication.
