Candidates complete performance-based activities in Pā€“12 school sites and related learning.

The program includes an internship requirement that can be completed while you continue working as an educator or school administrator. In addition, some of the coursework you complete as part of this post-master's degree program can apply to an Arkansas State University doctoral degree in education, allowing you to earn that degree in less time.

Graduates of the Education Specialist degree are working in key leadership positions as superintendents, assistant superintendents, principals, assistant principals, directors and curriculum supervisors in school districts throughout the country. Prospective students seeking licensure must review their state licensure requirements prior to enrolling.

This program requires Live Text.
