GRADUATE PROGRAM
Earn your online M.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics – Non-RD and elevate your understanding of how diet and other nutritional determinants contribute to the long-term health of others. In this innovative program, you will learn how to design, conduct and interpret nutritional research using descriptive statistics, inferential analysis and software tools such as Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). This convenient online program is ideal if you have a bachelor’s degree in any field and are not seeking RD certification.
GRADUATE PROGRAM
The M.S Nutrition & Dietetics RD online program builds on your knowledge of nutrition gained through undergraduate studies. Help individuals, groups and communities lead healthy lives and meet nutritional needs by focusing on topics such as food and nutrition-related challenges for diverse populations, the management of nutrition support for patients in critical care, and the traditional and emerging roles of health professionals as moral agents.
As part of this program, you’ll have an opportunity to put your knowledge and skills into practice with practicum courses. Upon completion of the program, you will also be eligible to sit for the Registered Dietitian exam through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
As a graduate,
you can work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, senior retirement
centers, school systems, sports and wellness centers, the health department or
food service management.
