This certificate program is designed for credentialed educators in Arkansas as well as credentialed educators from other states who seek to acquire a Building-Level Administrator License (i.e. principal's license). The program builds on previous degrees through our curriculum-intense courses and is designed to provide an accelerated, affordable route to obtaining an additional licensure.
As licensure requirements may change without notice, it is the responsibility of the student to confirm the requirements for licensure in his/her state as it applies to the participation in an out-of-state degree program.

Our Building-Level / Principal Certificate online program is designed to be flexible and convenient for working professionals, featuring accelerated coursework and multiple start dates a year.
Please note that the internship course lasts a full semester and only starts in Fall 1 and Spring 1 of terms.
Please note Summer 1 and Summer 2 terms are 5 weeks in duration for this program.

Students interested in this certificate program must have one year of teaching experience. Review the full admission requirements below.

- Master’s degree
- 1 year of teaching experience
- An education-related master's degree from an accredited institution
- One year of teaching experience. Please submit Teaching Experience Verification Form
- A written commitment from an educator who will function as your mentor during the degree program. Applicants should review the qualifications and responsibilities with their chosen mentor prior to having the mentor complete the Mentor Form.

What you’ll learn in our online principal certificate program
Students in the Building-Level / Principal Certificate online program must complete the following eight courses (24 credit hours).
