Career Highlights:

Dr. Pan is the recipient of the Janice Hocker Rushing Early Career Research Award from SSCA in 2014 and co-author of two dozen refereed journal articles and book chapters. He has also presented 30 research papers at top-tier academic conferences and received top faculty and student research paper awards from AEJMC and ICA. Recently, his research has been collected in the Journalist's Resource of the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics, and Public Policy in the Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to his graduate studies in the United States, Dr. Pan practiced media and communication in Taiwan for a few years, including China Times Express and Taiwan Military Service.
