RN to BSN

  • What advice would you give to those considering this program?

Prioritize your time. Set aside specific times throughout each week to complete assignments. Make sure to put all due dates (especially discussion board dates) on your calendar so no parts of the assignment are late.

  • Why did you start teaching?

I love watching students grow and experience that "ah-ha" moment.

  • What do you want students to learn in your class(es)?

I want them to have an appreciation of that particular part of that field of study. I do not expect each student to fall in love with that content area, but if one can walk out of the class with appreciation and respect for that aspect of nursing, that is what I hope each student can learn.
