“Intervention specialist” is a title used in some states (notably Ohio) for what Arkansas and many other states call a special education teacher or instructional specialist. A-State’s MSE in Special Education – Instructional Specialist K-12 covers the same core competencies — assessment, individualized instruction, and behavior support — regardless of the state-specific title.
