Fees

One-time graduation fee of $95 (post-graduate), $85 (graduate) or $60 (undergraduate) and non-refundable application fee of $30 may be applicable.

All prices are subject to modification by the Board of Trustees for Arkansas State University. The university reserves the right to change the cost of tuition and fees at any time if such action is deemed necessary. The Arkansas State University System Faculty and Staff tuition waiver does not apply for any degrees offered through the Academic Partnerships initiative.

Certificates do not have a graduation fee.

RN to BSN program fees and expenses are approximate and costs may vary. Anticipated clinical costs include the following:

  • Hepatitis B series and TB skin test.
    • TB test is required annually.
    • May be obtained through personal physician, student health center, or public health center, or from a current employee file.
  • Proof of CPR certification.
    • Cost is $30-$50.
    • Applicant may also submit the CPR certification from a current employee file.
    • Proof of CPR certification is required annually.
    • Red Cross certification is good for 1 year.
    • American Heart Association certification is good for 2 years.
  • Malpractice Insurance
    • Students and those already holding a license (LPN, RN) are required to carry their own malpractice insurance and provide proof of insurance coverage each semester, prior to beginning clinical courses. Coverage must be for a minimum of $1,000,000 / $3,000,000. A copy of the policy page containing the student’s name, policy limits and effective dates should be filed with the School of Nursing Office.
    • Traditional AASN and BSN students may purchase insurance through Nurses Service Organization. Go to http://www.nso.com/ for more information.
  • Criminal Background Check
    • Students will be required to submit criminal background checks through Verified Credentials before admission to the program. Costs are to be borne by the student.

Your course(s) must be paid for in full by the Payment Deadlines located here. Payment plans are not an option for Academic Partnerships/A-State Online students.

Tuition Grant/Scholarship Eligibility

To maintain eligibility for any grant/scholarship awarded through the Academic Partnership program, in addition to any academic standard, students must remain continuously enrolled in courses through program completion.
